Nemesis

Nemesis is a great sci-fi action film. I love action films, but most of them seem to be coming out as straight-to-DVD rubbish. Not all of these are rubbish, though, but most of them can’t keep a light against the classics of the genre. I’m not saying that you can’t have fun with a bad movie, it’s just that some of them feel lazy and like they wanted the cash. This film, though, is a masterpiece of the action set-piece. If it’s action you want, then this deliver’s with a full throttle. It’s not quite as action packed as some recent films like The Raid, but it does have frequent action scenes which left me awe struck. In terms of acting, well, it’s not great, however it’s enough to keep the plot running along. It did slow down sometimes to let characters tell us the story, but it’s ok, it could have been worse. At least they deliver when it gets to the action. It could have been characters talking, then an action scene comes along and it only lasts for a minute and sucks. It could be that. Thank God it’s not. Although, it was hard to get the mumbo-jumbo, if you watch it for the action, which is directed brilliantly, it is a classic in the genre. The opening scene alone is awesome and takes about fifteen minutes. It’s just a cool film. I recommend this greatly for action fans.
