A. Old Portsmouth is where Portsmouth started. It has many historic locations. In 1704 people were able to build houses near to the dockyard so a near suburb called Portsmouth Common grew. and this changed its name to Portsea.
B. Old Portsmouth is located by the sea in Portsmouth.
C. There are museums and historic buildings everywhere.
D. The old buildings are from the 1700's and they look really old.
