I didn’t really know much about this, but when I did
eventually see it, it was really good and blew me away. For those of you who
like gangster films will really get some references early on. After all, these
youths depicted here try to live out the lives of gangsters. This is a really
thoughtful and actually quite gritty and grimy (the camerawork helps out a lot
with this) examination of youths and how they think. It really delves into
their minds. One is trying to be a sadistic gangster, the other is more
sensible and the other one is really thinking about what their lives are like,
and how their lives would be outside the estate. It’s a really good film and I
really recommend it.
