Having not read the book on which it was based upon, I
didn’t know what the plot of this show would be, other than it was about a
group of people ‘under the dome’. And I have to say, I honestly didn’t mind it
at all, it was quite entertaining actually. The first season was ok overall,
but not bad, with a great cliff-hanger at the end of the season making me want
more. The characters were interesting and I had a great time with them,
following each person’s story arc. However, the freshness of the characters did
seem to wear thin in the second season, and come the third (the last); it was a
bit boring, like they had covered this ground before. It’s sad that it got
cancelled - I don’t know why it did. But for what it was it was an entertaining
show.
