A woman, after finding out about one of her relations
getting lost in the the Suicide Forrest of Japan, she goes searching. Bad idea.
Pros:
·
I loved the atmosphere of this film. It was one
of the best things about it. Actually, it was probably the best thing about it.
It felt like you were lost.
·
Natalie Dormer was fine in her role.
·
It’s a nice-looking film. The cinematography is
what makes it atmospheric along with the use of sounds of the forest.
Cons:
·
The other actors were all dull and clichéd.
·
The story has been done before and with better
scares.
·
Also, the scares were very few. Basically, the
trailer had the best bits in the film. Which is a shame as this forest could
house many scarier scenarios.
·
They relied solely on jump scares throughout.
·
It was too predictable. Worse, it wasn’t
entertaining. Sure, it might have been a nice-looking film, but it was a bit
too dull in my opinion.
·
It isn’t a scary film. Even if you don’t know
what’s going to happen, I don’t think you’ll be scared in this film.
·
It got a bit repetitive. All it seemed that was
happening was the characters walking in a forest, and it went on for a long
time.
·
It looked like it was a bit rushed to get
publicity for Natalie Dormer fans.
