This 2011 short film adaptation of Charlotte Perkins' Gilman's short story is the best adaptation I have seen of it. The cinematography is really quite beautiful and the acting is spot-on. It's all very believable and never bored me although it it confined to one room pretty much for the whole runtime.
It's twenty minutes that went by fast and I feel like that is perfect for this movie.
I also liked (going back to the cinematography again) the way the camera focused on the main character, like the movie is saying that it's her story.
I would recommend this film.
