The Departed, directed by Martin Scorsese is a crime drama about moles in the police and the mafia.
Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, Vera Farmiga and Alec Baldwin all star in what is a very interesting story, which kept me engrossed it's over two hour runtime. The film may not be action packed, but it nails the characters and tension brilliantly. The acting is great across the board. The ending is shocking, but does make up for it's title.
Highly recommended.
