Open 24 Hours is a horror movie mostly set at a gas station (which was interestingly built for the film) where a woman with a dark past involving her boyfriend starts work. Said boyfriend is then on the loose from prison and comes for her.
This film exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be an ok movie, but I enjoyed it very much. I was worried the location of the gas station would overstay it's welcome and venture into boring territory, but it didn't. It kept my attention. Plus, there was some beautiful cinematography with the rain lashing down on the lonely gas station at night.
The acting was good, as well. I also liked the killer and felt that he was menacing. The violence was brutal and there were some nice gory visual effects.
I would reccomend this movie.
