Dropbear is a 2025 horror movie about tourists in Australia coming up against killer koalas.
Unfortunately, it sounds better than it actually plays, because the movie is plagued by low-grade VFX (although it does vary, especially with the main villain).
The movie does feel like it drags quite a bit and the characters aren't as great to spend time with, although the actors do a good job with subpar material.
There are pro's. The film tries to be quirky and humourous with the Australian scammers, and it brings some much needed entertainment value, however, that is not enough. Also, another pro is the use of gore at the end, especially with it being administered via chainsaw, which was the highlight of the film. Other than those, there's some beautiful cinematography. But not much else.
