Outlaws and Angels has a simple enough premise, it's set in one location for most of the runtime and features top-tier acting. It also is well-shot, with the use of crash zooms giving the movie that calssic western feel. However, the movie slides to a halt as the conflict is set up, and slowly creeps it's way to a quite predictacble finale. Sure, there are surprises along the way, but they don't compensate for the tiresome scenes of dialogue. There are one-location movies that work, but it's a fine line from good to boring. This one is fairly in the boring category, which is a shame as the acting is great. There's just not a lot of things happening. In the end, it's just a fine movie. There are some scenes which are bloody, but they are few and far between, which, depending on the viewer is either a bad thing of a good thing. It's ok, overall.
